There are two ways by which you can share videos to your social profiles through Statusbrew Publish. The first way is to upload your video directly to the Composer and the second way is to share a link to the video.
Usually, the videos uploaded directly within the Composer will appear natively on most social networks, while the links shared to videos hosted online (e.g. YouTube), will be displayed as a link/preview in the form of a card. The table below gives a quick summary of which methods work on each social network.
|Social Network||Video Upload||Video Link|
Video Upload Requirements
Statusbrew currently supports videos up to 512MB in the file format of mp4.
We do not compress or limit resolution for the videos, although the respective social networks may modify them to ensure they can be posted to the social network, keeping the quality loss minimal.
For Twitter, the videos should be within the Twitter’s permitted file limits of 512MB and up to 140 seconds long.
*Videos for Instagram would work through regular Post Notification system using Statusbrew iOS or Android mobile apps. Read more about it here.
