How Slack Integration works with Statusbrew?
Statusbrew's Slack Integration changes the way Brands and Agencies can bring in their teams to collaborate in Social Publishing and Brand Monitoring. When you connect your Statusbrew with one or more Slack channels & workplaces, you receive instant Slack notifications for configured activities performed in Publish and Engage Section.

You can choose to receive the following notifications on your Slack channel:
Publish
- Bulk Upload
- Post Sent
- Post Deleted
- Post Approved
- Post Rejected
- Post Failed
- Note Added to a Post
Engage
- New message received on a conversation
- Conversation Replied
- Conversation Closed
- Conversation Re-opened
- Conversation assigned to a team member
- Note Added to a conversation
Connecting Slack with Statusbrew
Any slack user can set up and manage Slack Integration at an Organization level for all the team members. To begin connecting one or more workspaces,
- Click on the Home Icon
in the top left of your screen to open Statusbrew Home and click on Integrations
- Click on "Slack" from the list of available services
- Enter your slack workspace URL & Authorize Statusbrew on the next page
Once you have successfully connected a Slack workspace, the next step is to Add Slack Alert
Setting up Slack Notifications (Alerts)
With your Slack connected, you can now set up Alerts. This step is triggered automatically when you add a new workspace. You can manually go to this screen via "Home > Settings > Integrations > Slack" and Click on Add Slack Alert.
Here are the steps you need to follow to configure your Slack Alert:
- Select the right Slack Team
- Select the Channel you'd like to push alerts to
- In the next field, add all the Profile/Profile Groups you want to set the alerts for
- Check all the activities you'd wish to be notified on slack
- Click Save
You can set up Multiple Alerts which depends on where the concerned team members or clients are available.
Managing Slack Alerts
Here's how you can edit or remove Slack alerts in Statusbrew:
- Head to Settings from Statusbrew Home and click on Integrations
- Click on Slack from the list of available services
- From all the alerts created, you can click on the Edit button on the right
- If you want to completely remove the alert, you can use the Delete feature
Adding a new Slack Team
If you'd like to add a new workspace, for your own organization or for your clients, here are the steps to do so:
- Click on the Home Icon
in the top left of your screen to open Statusbrew Home and click on Integrations
- Click on Slack from the list of available services
- Click on the Manage Slack Team button on the top right and use the Add Slack Team option in the Slack Teams screen
Now, you can create Slack alerts for any channel in all the Slack teams connected to Statusbrew
Controlling Visibility for Slack Teams
Statusbrew provides you the ability to control the visibility of your slack teams to better manage your workflows and integrations.
Here are the steps to change the visibility for Slack Teams:
- Click on the Home Icon
in the top left of your screen to open Statusbrew Home and click on Integrations
- Click on Slack from the list of available services
- Click on the Manage Slack Team button on the top right and use the Edit option beside the added slack teams
- Here you can make the slack team visible to all, or choose specific users/user groups
By default, all your slack teams are added as visible to all and remain that way unless you change the visibility manually.
