Creating a Saved Reply
Any user that is a part of the Statusbrew space can create, edit, or delete Saved Replies.
To create a Saved Reply,
- Click on the Home button
in the top left of your screen to open Statusbrew Home and click on Engage
- Open any conversation and in the reply field at the bottom, click on the Saved Replies icon
- Click on 'Add New Reply' and give it a recognizable name
- Craft/paste a reply in the "What is Your Common Reply" field and click on Save.
By default, the "Share with all team members" checkbox is selected when you are creating a new Saved Reply. If you want to keep it private, you can deselect it.
You can also add name placeholders to your Saved Replies. Click on the three-dot menu in the Create New Reply menu and click on "Add First Name" and/or "Add Last Name".
If a Saved Reply contains a placeholder {{first_name}} {{last_name}}, it will automatically be replaced by the recipient’s name (or Twitter/Instagram username) when used.
Using Saved Replies in Engage
Now when you click on the' Saved Replies' icon, you'll see your saved replies that you can select and reply to conversations quickly.
To use a Saved Reply in Engage,
- Open any conversation that you'd like to reply
- In the reply field at the bottom, click on the Saved Replies icon
- From here you can search for your Saved Replies and see a small preview before inserting
- Click on the Saved Reply to insert it in the reply box and click on Reply to respond to the conversation
You can also use the keyboard shortcut 's' to quickly insert Saved Replies into your conversations. Click on any conversation in Engage and press 's,' and the Saved Replies dialog will automatically open.
